THE PROPOSALS

We have now submitted an Outline Planning Application for Horndon Rise. The Planning Reference is 26/00400/OUT. This application includes:

  • Around 1,025 new homes, including 50% affordable
  • New employment space supporting the local economy by providing well-connected jobs
  • A new vehicular access off the A127, allowing for two existing, substandard junctions to be closed
  • New playing fields and sports facilities
  • A new primary school
  • Allotments, community gardens and orchards
  • A neighbourhood centre with village shop
